Ask about plant distributions in plain language. I answer from the GreenMaps data and update the map as I go.

GreenMaps addresses the Wallacean shortfall, the gap in what we know about where species live. Raw occurrence records leave most plants known from a handful of places and leave whole regions unsampled. GreenMaps provides predicted native range maps for the world's vascular plants, built with species distribution models calibrated to each species' dispersal ability and natural habitat.
